About us

We are here to help alleviate the stress and emotional pain that can be caused when having to clear a property.

Serious about sustainability

We’re a house clearance specialist with a difference. Since launching in 2017, our mission has been to run a zero to landfill business by assessing the items being cleared and finding a new purpose for them. This could be either by selling the items, donating them to charities and community projects, or finding other ways for their materials to be reused, such as through upcycling or taking them to a commercial recycling facility.

Reducing carbon emissions

As well as applying our creativity to prevent waste during the house clearance process, we’re committed to minimising our carbon footprint in numerous other ways. One of them is our website, which is hosted on a server that uses 65% renewable energy. As a team, we continually look for new ways to run a greener business and do our bit for the planet.

Compassionate and supportive

A home is not just a physical structure, it's a collection of memories, emotions and moments that define a person's life. That's why we understand the significance of a house clearance and the emotional turmoil it can cause. We’ll support you throughout the process by discussing your needs, answering your questions, working to your schedule and clearing the house in a respectful manner, ensuring that having a home cleared is a calm and stress-free experience.

Supporting crucial charities

Over the last twelve months we’ve donated £20,000 of items to Sue Ryder, the neurological and bereavement support charity, and Dove House Hospice, which provides excellent care for people in Hull and East Yorkshire with life-limiting illnesses. When you book a house clearance by Noah’s Ark, it’s very likely that some of your items will be donated to a very worthy cause.
