To give a better idea of how it works, there are three types of jobs we come across:
A great amount of the furniture and items within the house can either be sold by our business or donated to charity. There will likely be a little waste that needs disposing of in a responsible way, which is all part of the service. When this is the case, the clearing out of the property is entirely free.
There are some sellable items in the property and also some that we can pass on to charities, but more waste that needs disposing of. When this is the case, we’ll determine whether the service will be entirely free or come with an affordable fee.
If the property has very little in the way of sellable goods and the majority of it is categorised as waste, we’ll provide you with a tailored quotation. As always, we’ll donate anything we can to charity.
Though it may sound counterintuitive, the clearing of a house often creates a lot of mess. It can be in the form of dust, debris and all kinds of odds and ends, such as small parts that have fallen off pieces of furniture. This is especially the case when there’s a lot being cleared throughout the house, including the loft, garage and shed.
As part of the service, we clear away all of these bits and hoover the floors, leaving the premises tidy and presentable. This isn’t a deep clean, such as mopping floors, polishing surfaces and cleaning the windows, so please do let us know if you need one and we’ll recommend trusted specialists within our network.
